Lo mas importante es que tengas claridad en el trato al cliente puesto que si logras una buena comunicación la mayoría de tus problemas estarán resueltos.
No des muestras de tu trabajo gratis, siempre exige que te paguen antes de siquiera mostrarle bocetos puesto que los clientes ya están acostumbrados a no pagar por el trabajo inicial del diseño.
Cuando vayas a ver a un cliente por primera vez saca toda la información que puedas para tus diseños pero procura nunca dar tus ideas todavía, guardalas para cuando ya te contraten y no empieces hasta que te den un anticipo.
Nunca des un presupuesto sin haber analizado a la perfección tus horas invertidas, imprevistos, equipo de trabajo y materiales
Siempre asegurate que la persona con la que estas trabajando sea la encargada de tomar la decisión final sobre el producto.
Si sientes que es un proyecto grande no lo hagas tu solo aveces es mejor contratar un equipo de trabajo a quedar mal con el cliente.
Los contratos son la mejor forma de dejar las cosas claras y como recordaras es lo mas importante. Esto te ayudara a ti y a tu cliente, por lo que es recomendable no trabajar si no hay un contrato.
Cada vez que vayas con el cliente a mostrar avances es recomendable que firme que si esta de acuerdo sobretodo los puntos cruciales como lo son presupuesto, plan de trabajo, diseño final, entre otras.
Así como tu tienes que respetar los tiempos que te pone el cliente el también debe de cumplir sus tiempos para entregar el material prometido como puede ser texto e imágenes para una pagina web.
Aunque no seamos unos expertos es bueno revisar los aspectos legales como si un cheque es devuelto se cobra 20% de este o que pasa con los derechos de autor.

1.- No tomar trabajos mal pagados pensando que ganaras al cliente.

2.- No le dejes que el cliente piense que te puede seguir mal pagando.

3.- Cuando vas a aceptar algún plazo de trabajo pensar bien si es realista y viable.

4.- Establecerle al cliente que el plazo de entrega se extiende conforme el va pidiendo cambios grandes.

6.- Pon un limite de modificaciones al cliente.

5. Si se va a firmar un contrato leerlo perfectamente tanto tu como el cliente.

6.- Con el contrato deben quedar protegidas y en acuerdo ambas partes para que no vayan a salir sorpresas.

7.- No menospreciar nuestro trabajo.

8.- No dejarse manipular por los cliente ni terceros.

9.- Si un empleado empieza a fallar sacalo del proyecto.

Los grandes avances tecnológicos que experimentamos en la actualidad nos han llevado a varias comodidades, como lo es poder pedir todo tipo de servicios por Internet, tener acceso a una gran cantidad de contenido y hacer el trabajo más rápido.
Pero con toda esta comunicación global también vienen desventajas, como tener una mayor competencia por puestos de trabajo, así como cuando haces una campaña o un trabajo debes de pensar que puede ser visto no solo por un público local, ésto siendo más cierto en algo que irá a Internet.
El nivel de exigencia y calidad ha subido puesto que el cliente ahora puede tener acceso a comerciales y campañas publicitarias de todo el mundo, y espera que tú le entregues algo así, además de ésto quieren pagar la misma cantidad que siempre han hecho.
Ésto visto a nivel local, ahora si uno de nosotros quisiera ir a buscar trabajo en EUA por ejemplo, te enfrentas con personas no sólo de ese país sino de todo el mundo compitiendo por un puesto, por lo que siento que no debes de conformarte con lo que te enseñan en la universidad. Otro aspecto es el fenómeno de los freelancers que la mayoría de ellos al tener tantos proyectos dan su trabajo mucho más barato bajando el precio estandard para todos.
Es por eso que es muy importante aprender a defender el precio de tu trabajo y sobre todo llegar mas allá de ser un técnico, poder sustentar la razón por la que tu trabajo beneficiará más a cierta compañía y es justo el precio que están ofreciendo. Y poco a poco ir reeducando a los clientes.

1. El uso perfecto del software de forma que en ningún punto restrinja sus ideas.
2. Tener la habilidad de ser autodidacta, de forma que se esté actualizando constantemente.
3. La visión de dar a conocer sus ideas sin perder de vista su público meta.
4. Ser eficiente a la hora de trabajar.
5. Trabajar en equipo puesto que varios proyectos son demasiado grandes para uno.

El Diseño Digital en México

Esta carrera ha sido creada formalmente hace cuatro años, pero esto no significa que hubiera ya profesionistas que terminaban siendo lo que ahora se conoce como diseño digital. Incluso varios de estas personas son los maestros de la carrera.

En cuanto al medio de trabajo no se ha difundido a gran escala como tal, ya que generalmente nos catalogan como diseñadores gráficos o comunicólogos dependiendo que estemos trabajando. Es importante crear una cultura entre los clientes de que es lo que abarca en realidad la carrera así como los beneficios que trae contratar a un Diseñador Digital.

Y con el paso de los años especulo que irán desapareciendo los diseñadores gráficos dándole paso a los digitales que se encargaran de romper con esquemas viejos, como lo es la promoción de productos basados en medios impresos.

I've just finished tuning up my computer so it can host my web page. I use it mainly to transfer files to my friends. When I'm logged into Ubuntu its quite great it has a lot of stuff but when I'm on Windows its awful so don't be disappointed if you see a crap of server.

Ive just finished reading an article about The Annie Awards “Animation's Highest Honor”, the more I read the article the more I was picturing myself getting one of those awards on account of Pixar. I'm really inspired by that dream so from now on I swear to myself that I'll do whatever I can to reach that dream no matter what.

I'll stop wasting time in stupid things like being reading unimportant things on the web, watching series that I don't really care, eat as fast as I can so I start doing my homework. And at the end of the day practice my 3d animation. I also read that Linux its getting popular among the 3d animation's studios so I'm gonna get a extra HDD so I can install open Suse and use Maya in Linux.

I'm sorry I've hadn't written since January 14, well here are some news, I've already installed Fedora the bad thing is that I couldn't get Maya to work in Fedora I guess its because of the license installer thats all fucked up. I hope I can get an other license installer because I really wanna try out Maya in Fedora. Besides that it haven't happened anything interesting in my life until today that I saw Sweeney Todd.

I'll begin by telling you that this is a great movie mainly because of the music. I think it's what makes the movie appealing rather than disgusting, I loved the way Tim Burton made the blood because it was so much and in an artificial colour that it was beautiful. The story was so interesting that I was anxious to finish the movie, couldn't get my eyes away of the screen.

A lot has changed since my last post, I'll name a few ones.
-I'm at second semester of Digital Design, the last semester was great except a few subjects that were a waste of time.
-I've met new ppl that happened to be great friends.
-I'm in the open source movement like Ubuntu, Open Office and Pidgin.
-I almost finish the logo animation of my company, starting to learn Maya and planing to create a short film after learning Maya.
-Also a month ago I got 4 books and read them in a lapse of a week and since then I've been reading a lot more.

Since I've got a lot of spare time I started putting some order to my music library because it was a mess like cloned songs, bad tittled songs and been getting all the artwork of the albums.

Also I restarted to study and do some 3d animation, this holidays have started great.

Today Im officialy out of high school but I will not get my certificate until august :S I was really hopping to see it today...

Well finally I've finished it and im ready to the University, in wich I'm going to study "Digital Design" with a 20% schoolarship that has been confirmed this week :)Also a great news is that I'm going to buy a external HDD [WD My Book Essential 320GB] so now I'll be able to install load more of programs :)
